  GRAVESTONES ON THE FLOOR OF THE CHURCH

There are several memorial gravestones on the floor of the church;
four in the nave, one under the tower, three in the south chapel and
another alleged to "be in the chancel. Although these stones are inside
the church and so have not suffered damage due to the weather, they
have been "badly worn down by people walking over them, and for this
reason it is considered appropriate to record their inscriptions
here while they are still legible.
